Any Given Evening in our Living Room

We’ve been in St. Cloud, Minnesota for 14 years.  Five of those years were in the first home we ever owned, and the last nine years in our current home.  I thought I’d share a few favorite pics from our home in St. Cloud:

Our Current Home:

Shutting down this life and preparing for a new life in a new land has been challenging. Airline tickets have been purchased and we fly out on December 31st.  The biggest problem right now is that our house has been on the market for five months and there is no sign of a sale anywhere on the horizon.  We’ve dropped the price twice, and if we go any lower then we will have to bring a check to the closing.  Yuck.

We are now thinking about the unthinkable… renting it out and becoming landlords.

Our Next Home:

After much trial and frustration we finally found a place to live in St. Maarten at Rainbow Beach.  From the photos we’ve seen, it looks like a beautiful place to live right on the ocean.  There’s a lot of packing to be done still here in St. Cloud, but we are excited to head south!
